I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) and Board-Approved Supervisor in Texas, with extensive experience in both medical and mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient care. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most complex challenges.
Raised in a culture that encouraged emotional suppression, I understand firsthand the difficulty of finding one’s authentic voice. This experience drives my passion for creating a safe, empowering, and inclusive space where emotions are welcomed, healing is possible, and personal growth is sustainable.
I specialize in guiding clients through trauma recovery, infertility challenges, life transitions, and reconnecting with their inner strength. I also provide support for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health challenges, with a strong commitment to serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities through culturally responsive care grounded in empathy and respect.
Using a client-centered, evidence-based approach, I help clients change unhelpful thought patterns, build insight, confidence, and resilience, reconnect with their true self, and achieve personal and professional goals. Clients often leave sessions feeling grounded, empowered, supported, and equipped with practical strategies to thrive in daily life.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou. Hi, I’m Tamesha and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. Are you struggling with depression/anxiety/adjustment disorders related to stress, grief, life transitions, trauma and anger? I specialize in working with couples and helping individuals adjust to life transitions while providing support to other mental health issues. My goal is to help you learn how to adapt and pilot a world that can be challenging, overwhelming and even exhausting at times. I want to provide all my clients with a safe, open, and accepting environment to explore their emotions.
My approach addresses the WHOLE client (mind, body, and spirit). Together, we work to discover your purpose and find the tools within you to help you overcome life’s obstacles. I use therapeutic modalities, such as CBT and DBT and if those do not work for you, we will explore all avenues to find the best one(s) for you. I am a strong advocate for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and take pride in offering mental health care that is culturally informed and supportive of these individuals.
Please reach out if you have been looking for someone who is ready to challenge your barriers while being supportive as you make decisions for your life that might be hard. I would love to be a part of your journey.

Starting therapy is a brave and meaningful step — especially if you come from a background where mental health wasn’t openly acknowledged. I understand the strength it takes to seek support, and I’m here to offer a space where you feel seen, safe, and respected. A space that honors your story, culture, identity, and everything that makes you who you are.
Whether you're facing a major life transition, coping with the weight of past trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life — work, relationships, parenting, or family dynamics — you're not alone. Therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I integrate evidence-based practices such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Trauma-Informed Care to support your healing and growth. Every session is tailored to meet your unique needs, values, and goals.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to every therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and respected—and I strive to create a space where you can show up just as you are. Informed by the principles of trauma care—safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural humility—I work with individuals who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relational challenges, substance use, burn-out, and other stressed-related issues. I recognize that distress shows up differently for everyone, and my role is not to pathologize your experience, but to honor you. I truly believe in a person's ability to overcome adversity by offering a person-centered approach and focusing on inner strengths. Building a therapeutic foundation with your therapist based on trust, accountability, and honesty will empower you to say the unsayable in a safe space where only compassion and truthfulness exist.
I understand how experiences—both big and small—can leave lasting imprints on the mind and body. I offer a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to explain or justify your pain. As your therapist, I will follow your lead and give you the tools to create new beginnings, improve relationships, develop self-awareness and find your inner voice. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, with an emphasis on safety, trust, and collaboration. If you’re looking for a grounded, compassionate, supportive partner in your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk with you.
